Could I be have an ectopic pregnancy or lately medication side affects?

I'm currently on the pill, and last month I missed a few days because of the principal ice storms here within Oklahoma. So once I got my current set of pills, I started taking them so I could catch up.
Everything seem to go fine, I have my period on my "placebo" week, and next I started taking the pills again like majority. Just a couple days ago, I started feeling unsettled and just feel like I have the flu. Then just today, I started bleeding a moment or two, and then it turned into a dark brown discharge. I didn't bleed a whole lot, so I'm not too worried just about blood loss. But I just finished my first week of the pills for this month, and I'm other very consistent next to having my time of year on my placebo week, and never any other time. I still have abdominal cramping from a few days ago and yesterday I feel completely horrible.
Could these symptoms be of an ectopic pregnancy, or just because of the swing in the consistency of taking my pill final month? It could be a sign of pregnancy in standard. You should take a home pregnancy experiment and call your doctor. Then again, it could be your body getting wager on on track. Best of luck.
