Do ALL women step through menopause?

I'm 32, and had an emergency hystorectomy stern in July, and they told me that I would turn through menopause early due to the surgery. But so far.nil. Could something be wrong? Hi Roxanne,
First of all, I'm so sorry that you've experienced this at such a childish age!
Menopause is the end of a woman's menstrual cycle and fertility and is a common condition that all women experience as they age. It occur when the ovaries no longer produce estrogen and progesterone, two necessary hormones for a woman's reproductive cycle to function.
Though it intrinsically occurs near age but it does occur artificially due to hysterectomy!
I'm guessing you've have both ovaries removed in the operation! Have you be given hormone replacement? This helps a large amount with menopausal symptoms!
If both ovaries own also been removed later you enter (artificial) menopause quite suddenly!
If both ovaries own remained then they are still functional and menopause is most feasible to occur at the typical age or slightly younger!
I think you shift and speak to your GP and get them to explain surrounded by more detail what is now scheduled to your body?
And remember you are an individual and you may not necessarily experience the same symptoms etc as the other creature going through the same change!
Heres a website I found, I only checked it out briefly but I hope this may assist you.
