Contraceptive patch?

Im 16 and I used to take the pill, however I used to suffer from migraines so my Doctor suggested I stopped taking it.
Im interested within the contraceptive patch but don't really know much about it!

Does not interrupt sex.
Can be worn while swimming, having a hip bath or exercising.
Women do not have to remember to run a pill.
Disadvantages
Does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
Can cause headache and skin problems.
Contains the same hormones as the combined pill, which within a small number of women can create serious side effects such as blood clots and breast cancer.
The best advice I could suggest is to gossip to your doctor or someone at a family planning clinic. I am lone one person who this contraceptive did not agree beside, there are heaps who it was okay for. Good luck within your search.
